How to Install OneDrive on your computer?
You won’t need to download OneDrive on your computer if you are using windows 10, 8.1 or 8. A single reinstall is enough. However, if you are using other OS like macOS(any version), any Linux distributions or old Windows like XP. Then you will need to download it.
In other OS download the file and install it. However, to reinstall it on windows follow these steps.
Step1: Click on the Start Menu.
Step2: Type CMD in the start menu box and open command prompt.
Step3: Now in Command Prompt type “%Systemroot%\SysWOW64\OneDriveSetup.exe” for 64-bit computers and “%Systemroot%\SysWOW32\OneDriveSetup.exe” for 32 bit systems.
Step4: Wait for the installation and you have successfully installed OneDrive on your windows.

How to change the OneDrive account?
Well, you can use multiple OneDrive accounts on a single OneDrive software. However, you cannot sync or use files from one account on your other account. You will need to follow these steps to change your account on OneDrive.
- Open apps
Go to the notification panel and click on Show hidden files. Open the OneDrive app in notification panel now.
- Open Settings
Now open settings, by right-clicking on the OneDrive app.
As now you have open the setting section, you will find two checkbox sections. Below that you will find the Unlink option. Click on unlink.
- Sign in
A Welcome tab will open and Click on Get Started. Sign in if you have other account or create a new one.
- File Destination
Signing in windows will appear and soon another window will open. Here now you can change the file destination where you want all your files to be or you can change it by clicking on Change.
- Sync and close
A window will pop-up, choose to use the location option. Sync option will appear, choose the file in your computer you want to sync. And click on next and click on close.
It depends according to you. If you are in need of more space and your current device is full, then it might work for you. If you want to store your files and don’t want them to get problems like virus and others, then it will work too. However, other than these it will not work.
